Cuemilo Privacy Policy

Cuemilo does not operate an account system, advertising, tracking, analytics, or a developer-hosted service that receives your scripts, videos, or voice recordings.

Scripts and recorded takes

Your scripts, current draft, reading preferences, and recorded videos are stored in the app on your device. They may be included in device or iCloud backups according to your Apple settings. Sharing a video or saving it to Photos creates a copy in the destination you choose, which is governed by that service’s privacy practices.

Speech recognition

Selecting Voice follow requests microphone and speech-recognition permission. Speech is processed on your device when Apple’s recognizer supports it. Otherwise, audio is sent to Apple’s speech-recognition service. Recognized words are used to follow your script. Cuemilo does not save a separate recognition transcript or microphone recording unless you explicitly record a video. Learn more about Apple’s Siri and Dictation privacy practices.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. Cuemilo checks Apple-verified purchase information on your device to unlock Voice Follow and color themes. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not received by the Cuemilo developer. Use Restore purchases in the Premium screen to check purchases associated with your Apple Account.

Your controls

Use Auto mode or pause to stop voice recognition. If a video is recording, its microphone continues until you stop recording. Camera, microphone, speech-recognition, and Photos permissions can be changed in the device’s Settings app. Photos access is requested only when you choose Save to Photos.

Retention and deletion

Saved scripts and takes remain until you remove them or delete the app. Swipe a saved script to delete its library entry. The current draft is kept separately; clear it in the editor or discard it when creating a new script. Recorded files can be deleted in the Files app from Cuemilo’s Recordings folder. Copies exported to Photos, Files, other apps, or backups must be managed there separately.

Windows app

The Windows download is a local desktop app. Scripts, the current draft, and reading preferences are stored under your Windows user profile in AppData\Roaming\Cuemilo. Voice follow uses Windows Speech Recognition. Depending on your Windows privacy settings, speech may be processed on this PC or sent to Microsoft. Cuemilo does not keep a separate recognition transcript and does not send audio or scripts to the Cuemilo developer. There are no in-app purchases in the Windows build.

This website

This website is hosted by Vercel, which may process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to serve and secure the site. Windows downloads are stored in Vercel Blob and downloaded from Vercel’s network. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use it to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive scripts or recordings.
